Account setup, verification, and first steps.
Evalat is designed for students, teachers, universities, colleges, schools, and coaching centers. Each account receives a workspace experience suited to its role.
Email verification protects your account and confirms that important exam and security notifications can reach you. Standard registrations must verify email before signing in.
Yes. Google sign-in provides a faster onboarding path. After your first Google sign-in, Evalat may ask you to set a password so you also have a secure recovery option.
After signing in, open the account menu in the top-right corner and choose Profile Settings. You can update your profile image, contact details, password, phone verification, and two-factor authentication there.
Build, review, schedule, and publish assessments.
Teachers can create an exam from the Exams workspace, add its title, duration, schedule, and attempt rules, then add questions before publishing it for eligible students.
Yes. Manual question creation is supported without AI quota usage. Teachers can add objective, open-answer, and coding questions, including optional marks and negative marking.
Yes. AI-generated questions are drafts for educator review. Teachers can keep, edit, discard, replace, or supplement them with manual questions before an exam goes live.
Yes. Authorized exam creators can use the bulk upload workflow to add many questions in the supported format, then review the imported questions before publishing.
Yes. Evalat supports language-aware question workflows for Indian learners, allowing exam creators to prepare questions in the language appropriate for their audience.
Starting exams, timers, navigation, and retests.
Students see one question at a time with next and previous navigation, a question palette, a visible timer, and submission controls. Answers are preserved during the active attempt.
A scheduled exam can be started only inside its assigned date and time window. Expired or not-yet-open exams cannot be started.
Timed exams are automatically submitted when the allowed duration ends, helping ensure every student receives the same attempt time.
Retakes are available only when the exam owner has enabled them for that assessment. If a retake is allowed, the option appears in the student exam list.
Integrity controls and student expectations.
Evalat can enforce fullscreen mode and record tab switches, focus loss, restricted actions, and other attempt violations for later review.
No. Webcam monitoring is optional and appears only for exams where the institution has enabled it. Students are informed before camera access is requested.
A violation may be recorded when the exam window loses focus, fullscreen mode is exited, a restricted action is attempted, or another monitored event occurs. Students should remain on the exam screen until submission.
Evalat uses verified accounts, secure sessions, login throttling, role-based access, optional phone verification, and two-factor authentication to protect user access.
Scores, result visibility, and verification.
Students can view their own recent scores and exam history from their workspace. Result visibility may vary for institution assessments according to the exam workflow.
Authorized educators and institution account owners can review result summaries for assessments created within their institution. Students can access only their own permitted result information.
A completion certificate is issued only for qualifying assessments when the required completion criteria are met. Eligible students receive a download option in their results area.
Evalat certificates include a QR code that opens a public verification page. The page confirms whether the certificate is genuine and displays the relevant assessment details.
Subscriptions, payments, limits, and changes.
Choose Manage Plan from your account menu, select the plan and billing cycle, and complete checkout. Your plan changes only after the payment provider confirms a successful payment.
A failed or cancelled payment does not change your current active plan. You can return to Manage Plan and try checkout again.
Yes. Available plans can offer monthly and annual billing options. Current prices and included capacities are shown on the Pricing page before checkout.
Exam creation and AI question generation capacities depend on the active subscription plan. Manual question creation remains available without consuming AI question capacity.
Try simpler keywords such as timer, certificate, upgrade, or manual question, or ask Evalat Guide above.
